DESCRIPTION

GT86 / FRS / BRZ Quick Change Rear Subframe Mount Kit (DIY)

Designed in-house in collaboration with professional driver Jack Shanahan, this kit allows a quick change differential to be fitted into the factory GT86 / FRS / BRZ rear subframe.

The kit has been extensively refined over the past year, with continuous development focused on strengthening known weak points. This process, carried out in collaboration with Jack, has resulted in a proven and reliable solution. It also represents the first kit of its kind currently available on the market.

Developed using 3D scanning and CAD design, this kit is engineered for accurate fitment while retaining strength in key load areas. All components are manufactured from 6mm and 4mm steel, making the system well suited to drift, track, and other high-load applications.

To provide the necessary axle clearance, the OEM rear subframe requires modification. For accurate and repeatable installation, the kit includes 1.2mm steel cutting templates to clearly indicate where the subframe must be trimmed.

Important Installation Note:
Due to the amount of material removed from the rear subframe, it must be properly braced before any cutting is carried out. This should be done using either a purpose-made jig or suitable weld-in bracing to maintain correct alignment and structural accuracy throughout the process.
